The West Delhi Sub-city is surrounded by North Delhi Subcity, Central Delhi Subcity, South Delhi Subcity and the state of Haryana on the west.

The West Delhi Sub-city extends from Paschim Vihar to PTC and further towards IGI Airport until Delhi Cantonment. Within this area, there are several significant regions such as Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Tilak Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Paschim Vihar, and Dwarka. While Dwarka is primarily situated in South West Delhi, a part of it falls under the jurisdiction of West Delhi Sub-city.
