Noida Extension, also known as Greater Noida West, is a rapidly developing area located in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a part of the National Capital Region (NCR) and is situated adjacent to Noida and Greater Noida.

It is a planned township that offers a modern and cosmopolitan lifestyle with excellent connectivity to Delhi and other parts of NCR. The area is well-connected to major roads and highways like the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, and the DND Flyway. The proposed metro extension to Noida Extension is also expected to improve the area's connectivity further

Noida Extension has emerged as a popular residential and commercial hub in recent years, attracting several real estate developers and investors. The area offers a wide range of housing options ranging from affordable apartments to luxury villas, and the real estate prices are relatively lower than other parts of NCR.

It is one of the sub-cities of Greater Noida that starts from sector 16 C and covers the entire area till Knowledge Park-V. Areas like Chipyana Khurd, Shaberi, Haibatpur, Gaur City 2, Pandit Colony, Ithaira, Roza Yakubpur, Patwari, Khairpur Gurjur, etc. 

Noida extension is surrounded by green areas and has good connectivity with Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Delhi. The development of the Noida Extension began in the early 2000s when the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) acquired land in the region. The first residential project, Amrapali Dream Valley, was launched in 2009, followed by many other residential and commercial projects.

However, in 2011, the Allahabad High Court declared land acquisition in the region illegal and ordered the GNIDA to compensate the farmers whose land was acquired. This led to protests by the farmers and the development in the region was stalled for several years.

In 2016, the Supreme Court of India upheld the land acquisition in the region and allowed the development to resume. Since then, Noida Extension has witnessed rapid growth with the launch of several residential and commercial projects.

The Delhi Metro's Blue Line extension to Noida City Centre is connected to Noida Extension through a proposed metro line extension. The upcoming Aqua Line of Noida Metro will also provide connectivity to Noida Extension.

The nearest railway station is Ghaziabad Railway Station, which is approximately 19 kilometers away from Noida Extension.
