NH-24 is one of the sub-cities of Ghaziabad City that stretches from Hindon River near Indirapuram to Dasna and covers the entire area along the Delhi Meerut Expressway.

The major development that took place on this route is the Wave City on an area of 4,500 acres that has plots, row housing, built-up floors, and bungalows. The other localities that developed along this route are Mahrauli, Shahpur Bamheta, Royal Jatav Mohalla, Nayphal, etc.

As real estate development started to take place around this area, the highway has been a center of attention for investors. Metro Connectivity:

NH-24 sub-city does not have direct metro connectivity as of yet, but there are plans in place to extend the existing metro lines to cover the areas along the highway.

The nearest metro station to NH-24 is the Vaishali Metro Station, which falls on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. From Vaishali, one can take a shared auto-rickshaw or a bus to reach the areas along the NH-24 sub-city.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed two metro lines that would pass through NH-24, providing direct connectivity to several areas. The proposed lines are:

• The Red Line Extension: This line would extend the existing Red Line from New Bus Adda to Ghaziabad Railway Station, covering the areas along NH-24. The proposed stations along this line include Shaheed Nagar, Raj Bagh, Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park, and Mohan Nagar.
• The Noida-Ghaziabad Metro Extension: This line would extend the Noida-Greater Noida Metro line to Ghaziabad, covering the areas along NH-24. The proposed stations along this line include Vaishali, Vasundhara Sector-14, Sahibabad, and Mohan Nagar.

Road Connectivity:

• Delhi-Meerut Expressway: NH-24 sub-city forms a major part of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, which connects Delhi with Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. This expressway has improved travel time and connectivity between the two cities, providing a high-speed corridor for commuters.
• Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE): NH-24 sub-city intersects with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at Dasna in Ghaziabad. The EPE is a peripheral road that bypasses Delhi, offering seamless connectivity and reducing traffic congestion in the capital region.
• Link Roads to Noida and Greater Noida: NH-24 sub-city has well-developed link roads connecting it to Noida and Greater Noida. These link roads provide convenient access to these major urban centres in Uttar Pradesh.
• Ghaziabad Link Road: NH-24 sub-city is connected to the Ghaziabad Link Road, which serves as a crucial connector within the city of Ghaziabad. This road network enables smooth commuting within Ghaziabad and facilitates access to various neighbourhoods and commercial areas.
• Connecting Roads to Delhi: NH-24 sub-city provides multiple entry and exit points to and from Delhi. It is connected to various arterial roads, including the Delhi-Meerut Road, Wazirabad Road, and other major roads, ensuring connectivity between NH-24 and different parts of the national capital.
• State Highways and District Roads: NH-24 sub-city is supported by a network of state highways and district roads, further enhancing connectivity to nearby towns, cities, and rural areas. These roads provide access to various residential, commercial, and industrial areas along NH-24.

Railway Connectivity:

NH-24, also known as National Highway 24, does not have a direct railway line running parallel to it. However, there are railway stations located near NH-24 that provide rail connectivity to nearby areas. Here are some of the railway stations near NH-24:

• Ghaziabad Junction: Ghaziabad Junction is one of the major railway stations near NH-24. It is located in the city of Ghaziabad and serves as a significant rail hub. The station is well-connected to various cities and towns in Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country.
