Manesar, officially known as New Gurugram City, is a town and municipal corporation located in the Gurugram district of Haryana, India. It is part of the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi and is strategically located along the Delhi-Jaipur NH48, the Western Peripheral Expressway (WPE), and the Dwarka Expressway. This Industrial Model Township hosts numerous factories and industrial activities from multinational corporations. According to the 2011 Indian Census, Manesar had a population of 23,448, comprising 14,381 males and 9,067 females, with 3,382 children aged 0 to 6 years. The town boasts a literacy rate of 77.2%, with male literacy at 83.2% and female literacy at 67.8%.
