The following areas fall under the jurisdiction of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation:

• Mira Road: This area is located in the north of Mumbai and is part of the Thane district. It is connected to Mumbai via the Western Express Highway.
• Bhayandar: This area is located to the north of Mira Road and is also part of the Thane district. It is connected to Mumbai via the Western Railway Line.
• Uttan: This area is a coastal village located in the northwestern part of the MBMC jurisdiction. It is known for its beaches and is a popular tourist destination.
• Pali Village: This area is located in the northern part of the MBMC jurisdiction and is known for its historic temples and scenic beauty.
• Gorai: This area is located in the northwestern part of the MBMC jurisdiction and is known for its beaches and amusement parks.

There are plans to extend the Mumbai Metro Line 7 to Bhayandar, which is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Mumbai Metro Line 7 is currently operational between Dahisar and Andheri and is being extended up to the Mumbai International Airport.

The proposed extension of Mumbai Metro Line 7 from Dahisar to Bhayandar is expected to cover a distance of around 10 kilometers and have 9 stations.The project is expected to improve connectivity between Mira-Bhayandar and other parts of Mumbai, which is expected to reduce travel time and ease traffic congestion.
