Once completed, the elevated road is expected to reduce congestion and significantly cut travel time in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) is planning to build a 30-kilometre-long six-lane elevated expressway along the Yamuna embankment. The new road will start from Sector-94 in Noida and directly connect with the Yamuna Expressway, providing quick access from Delhi to the Noida International Airport in Jewar. According to media reports, the biggest advantage of this elevated expressway will be the fast and direct connection it will provide to the Noida International Airport. The elevated road will pass from the Okhla Barrage area and move along the Hindon (Harnandi) and Yamuna embankment. From there, it will connect to the Yamuna Expressway through Gharbara village located in front of Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida. Once completed, the road will benefit residents of Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway region by offering faster and smoother connectivity.Six-lane elevated expressway
