The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to roll out a new residential plot scheme on Diwali 2024. The scheme will offer 821 plots in Sectors 18 and 24A, located close to the upcoming Noida International Airport.  YEIDA officials confirmed the scheme would primarily emphasise smaller plot sizes to cater to growing demand.

The brochure for the 821 plots has already been finalised.

Response to Demand Drives New Scheme

Following an impressive response to its previous residential plot scheme in September, which attracted over 200,000 applications for 361 plots near the airport, YEIDA has decided to introduce another scheme.

The new offering will provide plots of varying sizes in Sectors 18 and 24A, designed to meet the high demand for residential options near Noida’s expanding airport area.

Applications for the scheme are open from October 31, 2024, and will close on November 30, 2024.

Meeting Demand for Homes Near Airport

We have come up with this plot scheme because there is a huge demand for residential plots near the airport site," Arun Vir Singh, Chief Executive Officer of YEIDA, told HT.

This scheme offers a wonderful opportunity for buyers who wish to build houses near Noida airport.

According to Singh, the scheme has received a registration certificate from the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA), ensuring all formalities and approvals are complete for the Diwali launch.

Plot Sizes and Availability

The scheme will feature plots in four sizes: 120 square meters (sqm), 162 sqm, 200 sqm, and for the first time, 250 sqm. Sector 24A will have 344 plots available, while 477 plots will be offered in Sector 18’s Blocks 9A and 9B.

The development area around the Noida International Airport, including the planned international film city, has driven substantial interest among homebuilders.
