A new connectivity project is being developed to link Noida and Greater Noida, with the approach road for the Haranandi Bridge currently under construction. This project is expected to be completed by August. The approach road will extend 623 meters from the Haranandi Bridge to the 45-meter service road of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

Construction began on February 8 and once completed, the distance from LG Chowk in Greater Noida to the expressway will be reduced to just five minutes. Previously, travellers had to cover an additional 16 kilometers. The total cost of the entire project is Rs 147 crore.

The link road from LG Chowk to the expressway is 2,090 meters long and is being built with a width of 60 meters. A bridge is being constructed over Haranandi by the Setu Corporation. This bridge is a joint venture between the Noida and Greater Noida authorities. The approach road in Greater Noida is being developed by both the Greater Noida Authority and the Noida Authority. The area handled by the authorities is around 1,020 meters, with the 45-meter-wide approach road covering 623 meters.

Previously, people travelling from Delhi and Noida through the expressway to areas like Pari Chowk, LG Chowk, Collectorate, Surajpur, Sector Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Beta 1, Beta 2, Industrial Area, Industrial Extension and Ghaziabad had to travel an additional 16 kilometers. Once the new road is completed, this extra distance will be eliminated, benefiting several sectors.

- The bridge is being constructed at a cost of Rs 62 crore.

- The length of the bridge is 210 meters, and its construction cost is Rs 62.40 crore.

- The project was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 25, 2019.

- The approach road to Noida will have a height varying between 5.50 meters to 8.50 meters.

- The project in Greater Noida has a total length of 1,070 meters.
