The Greater Noida authority is offering 22 plots to schools, colleges, hospitals, and other institutions
The Greater Noida authority is offering 22 plots to schools, colleges, hospitals, and other institutions. It aims to raise at least ₹1,200 crore in revenue from the sale of these land parcels, which are earmarked only for institutions such as colleges, schools, nursing homes, and hospitals, said officials familiar with the development.
“In this scheme, we have plots for a university, a school, a college, and a hospital. The scheme will help us collect at least ₹1,200 crore revenue, and the figure could rise because whoever places the highest bid will get the plot,” said Naveen Kumar Singh, officer on special duty for the Greater Noida authority.
According to officials, these plots are located in sectors Omicron 3, Pi 2, Mu, sector 3, Sector 12, Knowledge Park 5, sector Techzone 2, Knowledge Park 3, sector Techzone 4, Knowledge Park 1, and sector 1.
The plot sizes range from 1,200sqm to 332,000sqm.
Interested applicants can register and apply for the scheme until April 11, pay the registration fees until April 13, and submit their documents until April 17. The authority has asked applicants to download the brochure from the authority’s website, which will be available beginning March 21.
The Greater Noida authority estimates that all institutions built on these 22 plots will attract an investment of ₹10,000 crore and employ at least 5,000 people.
The authority has devised various plot schemes to sell its land and generate revenue — it had previously launched schemes for information technology units.
