The Ghaziabad Development Authority has hired a consultant to prepare a detailed project report for the Harnandipuram township. Phase 1 DPR is due in two months

In a positive development from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has taken a significant step forward with the proposed Harnandipuram township project. On Tuesday, officials announced that the GDA has commissioned a private consultant to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) to expedite the project near the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The DPR for Phase 1 is expected to be completed within the next two months.

Rudresh Shukla, GDA’s media coordinator, confirmed the selection of a private agency for this task, which has already begun work on the report. Earlier in April, the GDA had invited tenders for hiring a consultant, and the chosen agency has committed to delivering the report on time.

In parallel, the GDA has initiated the process of direct land purchase from farmers for the first phase of the township, which includes villages such as Mathurapur, Shamsher, Champat Nagar, Bhandara Khurd, and Nagla Firozpur Mohan. The authority aims to acquire land from a total of eight villages.
