Inspection visits by BCAS teams have already taken place, and more reviews are expected. Officials confirm that security clearance has not yet been issued. Without this step, airlines cannot schedule commercial services.
Airport authorities state that they are coordinating closely with both BCAS and DGCA to complete licensing, safety validation, and security checks. Commercial launch planning will begin only after all regulatory conditions are satisfied.
Airport readiness depends on synchronized completion of civil works, technical systems, safety validation, and airline coordination. Even after the infrastructure is complete, trial runs and system audits are required.
Airline slot allocation, ground handling setup, and passenger service readiness must also be aligned before launch. Until approvals and certifications are finalized, firm flight start dates remain uncertain.
