This is the government’s roadmap to make the commute between Delhi and Gurgaon faster as well as remove existing bottlenecks in the two cities, the biggest two being Dhaula Kuan in Delhi and Iffco Chowk in Gurgaon. Among these, the underpass-flyover projects on the expressway in Gurgaon will be the earliest to be completed, possibly by March 2018.

1. Dhaula Kuan Improvement of T-intersection of station road with NH-8

Revamp of T-junction of Parade Road with NH-8

Delhi-Jaipur carriageway to be widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes

Status: Bids received, construction to start in October 2017 2. Mahipalpur (Rangpuri) Bypass to Rangpuri to connect Dwarka expressway with NH-8 through Nelson Mandela Marg

Grade-separated interchange proposed at UER II

Status: A feasibility study in progress; tender likely by January 2018 3. Sirhaul near Ambience Mall U-turn underpass on e-way to go towards Ambience mall from the Gurgaon side without crossing the border

Status: Feasibility study over; construction likely to start in March 2018 4. Shankar Chowk A U-turn underpass to be built so that vehicles coming from Delhi can go to Udyog Vihar without entering Cyber City

Status: Feasibility study completed; construction likely to start in March 2018 5. Iffco Chowk Two four-lane unidirectional u-turn fl yovers (towards Delhi and Jaipur)

An underpass near Huda City Centre (for vehicles going towards Mehrauli)

Service lanes and dedicated tracks for non-motorised transport along NH-8

Status: Built the flyover already; work on the underpass likely to be completed by 2017-end 9. Cloverleaf & trumpet junction at Kherki Daula A cloverleaf where Southern Peripheral Road meets NH-8

 Trumpet interchange to be added on opposite side where NH-8 meets Dwarka e-way
